Terms of Service
JobGenie is a job-search and application service delivered through the web dashboard, the desktop app, and a Telegram bot for fast updates and replies. We connect to job boards and channels — including LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, and others — and we keep adding sources as we expand coverage.
What JobGenie does
- Finds roles that match your search requests across supported job sources.
- Prepares and pre-fills application materials (including cover letters) for your review.
- Lets you approve and track applications from the web dashboard, the desktop app, or Telegram when you need a quick answer on the go.
- Surfaces new opportunities from connected boards and Telegram job channels you follow through JobGenie.
You stay in control: JobGenie assists your search and applications; you decide what to submit and when.
Early access
JobGenie is in early access. Features, supported sources, and onboarding may change. We may onboard new users with a short call and help you install the desktop app so everything is set up correctly on your machine.
Your account and the desktop app
- Your account is personal — do not share your login or client token with anyone else.
- The desktop app runs on your computer and links your JobGenie account to supported job boards securely from your device.
- You are responsible for keeping your device and account credentials safe.
Telegram
The JobGenie Telegram bot is part of the product today: it notifies you about matched jobs and application drafts and lets you respond quickly without opening the full dashboard. Telegram job channels can also act as job sources alongside traditional boards. Message us at @amashera if you need help with the bot.
Third-party job boards and channels
JobGenie is not affiliated with LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, Telegram, or any other platform we integrate with. You must comply with each platform’s own terms of use. Automation and high-volume activity may be restricted by those platforms; you accept that risk when you use JobGenie with your accounts.
Our list of supported sources grows over time. Availability of a specific board or channel can vary by region, account type, or platform policy.
Acceptable use
- Do not use JobGenie to spam employers, misrepresent your identity, or submit applications with someone else’s data.
- Do not attempt to bypass rate limits, abuse API tokens, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Do not use the service for any unlawful purpose.
Service availability
JobGenie is provided on an “as is” basis during early access. We do not guarantee employment outcomes, uninterrupted access to third-party sites, or that every source will remain available. We may suspend or limit access to protect the service or other users.
Privacy and data processing
How we collect and use personal data (including résumé content sent to our AI provider) is described in our Privacy Policy. Using JobGenie also requires accepting that policy when you register.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date below. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms, subject to any re-consent we require for data processing.
