Privacy Policy

We use Google Analytics on our public landing page to measure visitor traffic (page views and referrers). It runs only on the landing page — never on your signed-in dashboard — and by default measures without storing analytics cookies on your device. It is not used once you are logged in.

Analytics cookies are set only after you actively Accept on the landing-page consent banner. If you Decline — or make no choice — measurement stays anonymous and no analytics cookie is stored. You can change your choice at any time using the Cookie settings control on any of our public pages; withdrawing analytics consent also deletes the analytics cookies already set. Because measurement is consent-gated, the presence of an analytics cookie is not by itself evidence that valid consent was given.

To find and apply to jobs on your behalf, JobGenie processes personal data you provide. You must accept these terms before you can continue — there is no way to use the product without them.

What we process

• Your name, email address, phone number, and location.
• Your profile photo, if you upload one.
• Your résumé / CV and the text inside it.
• Your LinkedIn profile data.
• The pre-filled values of the LinkedIn Easy-Apply forms you apply through.

Why we process it

• To search and match jobs for you.
• To auto-fill application forms accurately on your behalf.
• To parse your résumé and generate cover letters.

Who else sees it

Your résumé text is sent to OpenAI, a third-party AI provider in the United States, so it can be parsed and used to generate cover letters. No other third party receives your personal data.

Withdrawing

Accepting is all-or-nothing. You can withdraw at any time from your account settings; withdrawing ends your access to JobGenie — there is no partial mode with AI turned off.
